Care

Wipe the body with a soft, damp cloth and dry it; avoid abrasive pads, solvents and harsh cleaners.
Clean the group head, shower screen, portafilter and baskets regularly with a suitable espresso machine cleaner.
Purge and wipe the steam wand after every use, and empty and rinse the drip tray daily.
If plumbed in, fit a suitable water filter; if using the tank, rinse and refill it regularly with fresh water. Wipe wooden parts with a dry cloth only.
Descale periodically according to your water hardness and the manufacturer's instructions; filtered or softened water helps reduce scale.
